Jacinta Dale
At the heart of Abledale Law is Jacinta Dale, an experienced legal practitioner with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in corporate (including M&A, governance, risk and compliance), commercial, litigation, regulatory, and property (real and intellectual) law. Her diverse skill set and extensive experience make her a trusted partner for businesses seeking comprehensive legal services.
A Wealth of Experience
Having commenced her legal career more than 20 years ago, Jacinta brings a wealth of experience to her role at Abledale Law. Her career spans private practice and more than a decade in-house, including roles at the 2nd largest food and drink company in Australia (part of the world’s 2nd largest food producer) and the UK’s largest water utility.
Jacinta was responsible for delivering clear, solution-focused, and timely legal advice, helping businesses navigate complex legal landscapes and make informed decisions. Jacinta’s experience has given her a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities businesses face, and she brings this perspective to her work at Abledale Law.

Jacinta's Experience
Jacinta Dale brings a wealth of experience from her past roles, including working in-house for the 2nd largest food and drink company in Australia and the UK’s largest water utility, as well as in private practice, providing her with a deep understanding of the unique legal challenges businesses face.
In addition to her legal expertise, Jacinta is a governance professional and a Chartered Secretary with more than 10 years of experience delivering company secretarial support services. She understands the importance of good governance in business success and works closely with clients to improve their governance, compliance and legal risk management systems.
Jacinta is known for her flexibility and adaptability. She is adept at hitting the ground running, quickly understanding new situations and finding effective solutions. She is practical, approachable and she has a knack for communicating complex and technical concepts in a simple and concise manner.
Throughout her career, Jacinta has gained extensive experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels. She understands the importance of building strong relationships and works closely with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.
Jacinta is experienced in legal project management and understands that planning and engagement are as important as technical legal advice. She works closely with clients to understand their needs and objectives and manages all aspects of the project to ensure these are met.
Jacinta holds a number of professional accreditations and qualifications. She has recently completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia, a Master of Laws from UQ, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) with a certificate of Specialisation in Commercial Law and a Bachelor of Journalism, both from UQ.
Jacinta is admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the Queensland Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia. She is a practising solicitor and member of the Queensland Law Society, a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Chartered Secretary/Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and the Chartered Governance Institute and an Advisory Board Centre Approved Advisor.
